Hi Catherine, I've kept the South Coast Style magazine (Nov/Dec 2005) with your Culburra article in it on my desk for years! Whenever I need a pick up I flick to that article and look at those cute Culburra beach houses. Having grown up in Kiama (now living in Melbourne), I dream about moving back to the South Coast ... especially now in the middle of winter when I'm missing sunshine and days at the beach.
Hi I was thrilled to find your blog - we have just bought a fibro beach shack at Victor Harbor in South Australia and i am looking for ideas to make it cool, comfy and not too modern. I love seeing that people are content to embrace them for their retro quirkiness and not always bulldozing them to build a boring urban monstrosity. We are preserving a piece of history!
Oh I adore all of these, and the yellow VW too. Thanks for visiting Beach Vintage.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of holidays as a young girl at the Sunshine Coast.
