Cupcakes & Potting Sheds

Have had a hectic week, being school holidays here. Found this gorgeous pic via Mr Craig Markham.

FIRMDALE HOTELS has won a silver medal at this years CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW for its POTTING SHED DREAM stand. Kit Kemp (Firmdale Design Director) worked with Bloomsbury Flowers to create a display which had to based around afternoon tea.

What is it about potting sheds that keeps us posting pictures of them? Bring on spring!

  1. Very artistic ! Love the table , maybe I should try to make one.

  2. what a great design. i think it has something to do with the idea of relaxing, being outdoors and pottering around. it appeals to us, but not many do it suspect.

  3. Potting tables/sheds/areas let us be the best of our 8-year-old self and all the ages inbetween to where we are now.

Their entirety is a fantasy. Nature is allowed, and intended, to waltz with all we've done.

    Making it better.

Top pic is fabulous but needs a few more months waltzing with Mother Nature. Then.............

  4. Yep I agree! For some reason this Winter feels too long!.. and I am saying that despite being born in Sweden!

Lovely shed.. love sheds! And attics, and any type of storage room that contains divine treasures really!
